Our maternity home allows for four pregnant women ages of 11 to 20, through 3 months postpartum. Our adult moms/newborns may apply for our Transitional Living Program which accomodates up to 3 moms/babies in our independent living cottages.
We provide a loving family atmosphere that includes family activities and outings, church, Bible study, nutritional meals, prenatal care, counseling, information about parenting and placing for adoption, life skills training, household skills, employment skills, continued education, and goal setting.
When a girl lives at Heart of Hope, families are encouraged to help cover the cost according to their ability to pay. No one is turned away because of their inability to pay.
Heart of Hope is located just outside Shreveport, Louisiana in the peaceful rural area of Grawood Community in the town of Keithville.

Our entry program is our maternity home. Interested women will fill out an application, interview with House Staff, tour the home, and be in complete agreement with the guidelines for living at Heart of Hope.
Absolutely not. You must make your own decision about coming into the Home, as it is voluntary.
Single parenting, adoption and marriage are all parenting decisions. The choice is yours.
No, as our maternity home serves pregnancy only and upto 3 months postpartum. We are unable to house additional children. Our Transitional Living Program includes mom/child (for adult moms graduating from maternity home program.
